There have been reports that numerous NHL clubs are looking to get tougher. They have combed the rosters and often look no further than Buffalo's Andrew Peters.

The Buffalo News has learned that GM Gheygier has sent a memo to all NHL General Managers stating the following:

"Any offers to acquire Peters are to be automatically denied by league office. Andrew is well respected in the locker room, and he is bar none the hardest worker on the team year round"

"He will wear blue and gold for years to come"
