Statement on Alexei Yashin

Dear Fellow General Managers,
After a few days of thought on this players I've come to a decision on his status. The GMs of Philadelphia and Columbus both got in a bidding war over him with offers reaching 11 mil plus the last time I looked at the thread. They then deleted those offers without my permission, which is a no no. There is no pulling of offers at all! Therefore after long thought Alexei Yashin will remain a FA but his starting salary will be a 2 year deal at 7.5 mil a season. Any GM may make an offer higher and may go as high as he desires. This rule only applies to Yashin, there is a limit for every other player.
