Panthers and Rangers in a blockbuster? (E3)

My sources are telling me that the Panthers are willing to deal some major team members in this maybe biggest deal of the offseason.

Both GMs were unavailable for comment...

We have our latest breakthrough on the Rangers-Panthers ordeal...there is no ordeal. All trade talks were put to an end, supposedly, when Head Coach/GM, Jacques Martin, was quoted saying, "We did speak to the Rangers organization, but nothing ever arose, so that's the end of it. Our original deal was shut down, but there may be some talks in the future."
We asked who would have been a part of the deal and Martin refused to comment.

...Reportedly the Rangers were upset at how quickly the Panthers went to the media when nothing was ever finalized. Luckily they did not mention any names so the two teams believe they can still have a working relationship in the future...
